Why is TheQuiltMate more expensive than similar products?
I started quilting a year and a half ago and found quilting to be a whole new world that I knew nothing about! At my first class I learned about quilting retreats and thought “Wow, that sounds like a lot of fun but how do I bring my ironing board!” I purchased an ironing pad, but found that it slid around on my table when I was ironing my quilt blocks. So I had an idea....and TheQuiltMate was born! TheQuiltMate is more expensive because it has a 100% silicone back that makes it so it doesn’t slide- at all- when pressing! I also wanted a very flat surface for a better ironing experience and because of the 100% silicone back it allows the ironing surface to be more flat- it isn’t “puffy” at all, which is also something I was looking for in a portable ironing pad. It is the silicone that makes it more expensive.
Which portable iron do you recommend?
As for a portable irons, I have tried 3 and I do have one that I definitely prefer over the others- my quilt instructor has the same one and she loves her as well so that is two recommendations! It is the “Rowenta DA 1560 Travel-Ready 1000-Watt compact Steam Iron." I love it!
What do I do if the item I received is damaged or defective?
We want you to be 100% satisfied and will happily replace your ironing pad. If you receive a product that is damaged, please contact us as soon as possible. Please explain the issue and send us a picture. We will provide you with a mailing label to send back the damaged ironing pad and we will ship you out a brand new one as soon as possible.
What do I do if I want to return my QuiltMate ironing pad?
We are sorry that you were not 100% satisfied with your QuiltMate. We strive to make the best ironing pads on the market, feel free to let us know what we can do to improve our product. We would be happy to send you a mailing label to return your QuiltMate. Once we receive the product in the mail, we will refund you, minus a $3.99 return shipping fee.
